Okay, now that we are all having nightmares. lol Just kidding. This is a very powerful piece, Angie. I love this line “The girl got such an dreadful fright in this realm of the unknown…” Reminds me of anxiety type attacks. Is it an attack because we are fearful of that unknown feeling. Are our minds allowing us to feel more, but we are affraid of the gift it is presenting us with so we mask it with pills to make those thoughts and feelings go away. Sorry, that line made me think of this.
