Shadow Revelations (The Short Film)
An alternative portrayal of the manipulation and puppeteering of the artistic industrial machine.
Sitting at her station, Angie begins to create a piece depicting a dream she had; a revelation. As time goes on, an emptiness remains in Angie’s soul. As she struggles to find an ending, she suddenly realizes it’s because she does not feel free to write what she really feels inside from her fear of being criticized and standardized by the artistic industrial complex. Angie needs to break free; free from the machine; free from the confinement and isolation; free from her mind…
A love/hate relationship in a careful what you wish for fantasy…

Dear Angie,
I finally found the time to watch the whole Shadow revelations video. What an awesome piece of work! Well done, very beautiful, very professional and the video perfectly matches your beautiful music or is it the other way round?
Congratulations Angie and crew/cast!
Hello Angie and staff, I just watched the short for the second time. This may be a little long winded but thanks for the oppertunity to respond. To Me it feels like Angie fell in the same hole Alice in Wonderland did. A good mix here of trying to follow the status Quoe and putting your own spin on things. Although there are other people involved in the dream-soul searching, Angie appears to be alone through it all…Interesting capture of a dream and soul. Well Done. Thanks.

Chère Angie, la petite Acadienne de Nlle-Écosse que tu es nous surprend encore. Bravo pour ce petit film. J’adore le style de “Shadow revelations”. Long life to you Angie!
Wow, Angie. Absolutely WOW! What a treat it is, to finally see those wonderfully creative dreams you have, make their way to our screens. It’s ironic that the dream you are sharing with us, was made possible by your fans and in this way, you were able to show us you; Angie Arsenualt. You have been able to share your music how you dreamed it should sound, and to portray your dream how you dreamt it should be told.
Think if everyone had a handful of artists they beleived in. If every 3 to 6 months they invested $10 in these artists, for $20-40 or round it up to $50 a year, you could make an artists dream come true and in return, know that you were a part of making that album you hold in your hands, or the short movie you just watched in amazement.
It costs the average person at least $50 a month to have cable and aside from CBC in part perhaps, there is no feeling of pride or accomplishment or having been a part of something, as you dish out more and more cash for services you hardly truly use. We throw our money away for products that are probably less than a quarter of how the artists (musicians, writers, actors, etc), invivsioned their art being released into the stratosphere.
In this way however, the way in which you have brought us your art, it reaches us with knowledge that the music, dreams; this art, is Angie Arsenualt certified.
You just filled a half-hour time slot and we were a part of that.
Artists Cable. Now that is something we can all ‘believe’ in.
Thanks Angie, for being a leader in this still relatively new, artists revolution.
I have been recieving a lot of CD’s from the artists I have invested in (or invested in on behalf of my young girls), so the past few months have been a lot of fun new music wise. My favorite part is when CD’s come in from artists my girls invested in. I love how they boast that they gave money to that girl to help her make her music. I didn’t tell them to say that.
I want my children to be a part of artists dreams and am thankful they have female musicians and dreamers like yourself, to inspire them to follow all of their dreams and not only follow them, but do it the way that feels right in their heart.
A big congrats to you on this amazing accomplishment, from the other end of the highway.
Cheers,
Lawrence
