MAKING MUSIC THROUGH CROWDFUNDING
In early 2009, Angie became the first Canadian singer songwriter & recording artist to successfully fund the costs of producing and releasing a full length album through crowdfunding. Over 531 fans, from all over the world, came together to pledge $50 000 for the project. Late 2010, Angie raised $15 000, again through crowdfunding, for her second full length album and short film.
SHADOW REVELATIONS
Released in 2011, the self produced fan funded musical project resulted in a mix of dark industrial pop sounds with an emphasis on rhythms, harsh electronic noise and Angie’s strong melodic vocal harmonies. To push the creative process further, Angie has also produced a 23-minute short film, which features many of the songs including the title track, Shadow Revelations.

ONCE UPON A DREAM
In February 2009, Angie released her long awaited debut album ‘Once Upon a Dream’, which was completely funded by 531 fans. The semi-concept album (potently soulful, slow-burning pop-rock epics that at times recall a Tori Amos or Amy Lee in their intensity, or perhaps a Coldplay or Radiohead in their breadth) explores internalized dream space as it relates to externalized expression.
